Haunted Fort Casey

October 25, 2019 - October 26, 2019

Location: Fort Casey State Park, Coupeville

Whidbey Island’s Fort Casey is already scary enough in the daytime. But on Halloween it will be visited by some seriously ghoulish types!

Fort Casey is an old military fort on Whidbey Island.  Built by soldiers to defend Puget Sound against invading ships, its pop-up guns could rain shells down on unfortunate vessels. The dark powder and shell magazines are scary enough on a summer’s day. Imagine what they’re like on a night when ghouls are loose!

Now in its fifth season of scaring, the haunted fort has become such a draw that pre-purchased tickets are required. Entry costs $10 per person and proceeds go toward restoration projects at Admiralty Head Lighthouse.
