Do you love local food and farms? This Labor Day, celebrate the bounty of Whidbey Island during Whidbey Island Grown Weekend.  

Whidbey Island Grown Cooperative has been navigating the current health crisis carefully to bring us safe, responsible options for connecting with local farms and chefs. This year’s offerings will focus on events appropriate for the current pandemic-related guidelines: virtual farm tours, social media posts/stories, and specialty dishes made with local ingredients from many of your favorite island restaurants. 

Whether it’s venturing out to a local farm stand, ordering take-out from a local restaurant, or shopping at a farmer’s market, let’s all get out there and support local for WIG Weekend!
